Stress in the workplace is common. In 2016/17 work-related stress, depression and anxiety accounted for 40% of work-related illnesses. At some point during your career, you will most likely experience work-related stress. A small amount of stress is normal but when it becomes chronic it is harmful and can spill into your personal life.

To manage stress, you must be able to recognise the symptoms and learn the techniques to cope with it. In this course, we cover important steps you can take to deal with your stress and virtual reality (VR) scenarios you can practice stressful situations in, from the safety of the virtual world.

An example of how this works: you'll learn how to deal with angry clients after a project goes over budget with our online tutorials, then you'll be prompted to put on a VR headset and practice talking with an angry client in a realistic VR scenario.

Gini studied Psychology at Durham University and Clinical Psychology at Leiden University, before working at the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom for several years. During this time, she developed service improvements and counselled patients with anxiety and depression.
