Customer Introduction
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is a leader in professional services, headquartered in London and renowned for quality services worldwide. At the 2024 LegalTech conference, PwC collaborated with VirtualSpeech to deliver AI-powered VR negotiation training to legal professionals.

The Goal
Negotiation training involves the handling of sensitive information. As a result, PwC required a platform that prioritized and could guarantee data security.
Turning to VirtualSpeech’s AI-powered platform, PwC’s internal risk team put the platform under a number of rigorous privacy assessments and scenario-based testing to evaluate its security before use.

"PwC’s rigorous assessment reaffirmed our commitment to building training technology that puts security and privacy first. We’re extremely proud that VirtualSpeech met their high standards."
Sophie Thompson, CEO, VirtualSpeech
The Result
PwC’s internal risk team tested the VirtualSpeech platform’s resilience against attempts to push interactions beyond their intended negotiation boundaries and found the platform stood strong. The VirtualSpeech platform is also protected against LLM security threats, such as prompt injections and jailbreaks.
Additionally, all participant data (including voice interactions) is securely managed by VirtualSpeech and aligned with industry best practices. VirtualSpeech’s implementation of privacy-preserving techniques and data minimization principles is in alignment with GDPR and ISO/IEC 27701, reducing the risk of unauthorized use of sensitive data.
Furthermore, VirtualSpeech’s governance structures align with ISO/IEC 38507:2022 principles on managing AI-related risk in professional training environments.

"Partnering with PwC demonstrated the strength of our platform’s governance and data protection measures. Their validation underscores the trust organisations can place in VirtualSpeech."
Dominic Barnard, CTO, VirtualSpeech
