Every learner gets a coach. Not just the ones you can afford one for.

Meet Hugh. He works with your people two ways: reflecting with them after every practice session, and running structured coaching sessions on the skills they need to build.

After practice

Reflect on what just happened

Available after every roleplay and every speech. Your learners debrief with Hugh while it’s still fresh, rather than reading a score and moving on.

  • Explore their feedback in a two-way conversation, not a report
  • Revisit the moments that went wrong and work out what to say instead
  • Decide what to carry into the real conversation

When it runs: automatically offered at the end of every practice session.

Skills Coaching

Prepare for a conversation they haven't had yet

Structured sessions your learners take on their own terms, no roleplay required first. They bring a real situation, work through it with Hugh, and leave with a written plan they can use.

  • Bring a conversation they're dreading and build the approach together
  • Or learn a named skill - SBI feedback, reframing, active listening - applied to their own case
  • Download a plan with the actual words to use, ready for the real thing

When it runs: standalone, whenever a learner or their manager chooses. Length: 5–12 minutes

What's in the Skills Coaching library

Nine structured sessions today, across communication, leadership and sales. Each has defined instructions, a named skill, and a report at the end.

New sessions are added regularly. For training built around your own competency framework, Custom Roleplays let you author your own scenarios - each one followed by the same AI coaching.

What a Skills Coaching session looks like

Short enough to fit into a working day - most run between 5 and 12 minutes - entirely conversational, and the learner leaves with something written down.

They leave with the actual words

This is the part that separates Skills Coaching from everything else on the market. Your learner doesn't finish with a score, or a list of things to work on. They finish with a plan for a specific conversation they're about to have.

Built with them during the session, structured by the framework they just learned, and written in language they'd actually use. They save it, download it, and open it again ten minutes before the meeting.

  • Structured by the framework - here, Situation, Behavior, Impact
  • Their situation and their words, not a template
  • Includes what to do when the other person responds
  • Downloadable and saved to their account
Your feedback plan — How to Give Feedback (SBI)

Summary

A summary of the feedback plan you built in this session. SBI keeps feedback clear and fair by starting from the Situation, the observable Behavior, and the Effect. The aim is to describe a recurring pattern concretely and respectfully, while leaving room for dialogue.

Ask permission

"Hi. Would it be alright if I gave you some feedback?"

Situation

"I want to raise a pattern where you often get into debates with others, including with me as your manager. Specifically I'm thinking of our conversation yesterday, when I called and asked whether you could work overtime through to Friday..."

Behavior

"When I asked if you could work through to Friday, you kept debating the scope of the overtime, even after I said I needed an answer to my question. You also called out to colleagues in the corridor that the shifts were being split up and that others disagreed with it, after I'd said that wasn't what we were discussing..."

The step most training skips

Practice without feedback doesn't improve anything. Feedback without reflection rarely changes behavior. Reflection is where a score turns into something a person actually does differently.

One-to-one coaching has always been the most effective way to get there, and the least scalable. It's expensive, it's time-consuming, and it goes to the few people you can justify it for.

See how the learning cycle works

Works with everything on the platform

The AI Coach is available after every roleplay and every speech, whether your people are practicing in the browser, on a tablet, or in VR.

That includes the scenarios you build yourself. Custom Roleplays created for your own products, policies and personas get the same coaching afterwards as anything from our library - so tailored practice comes with tailored reflection.

Associate Director of Campus Life for Residential Services at Aurora University

"What stands out with the new AI Coach scenarios is how practical they are, and how they can be applied to the variety of leadership and public speaking situations our Resident Assistant staff members encounter. Our team can really start preparing their message for difficult situations, leading meetings with larger audiences, and getting guided feedback they can actually apply."
