Customer Introduction
Paris School of Business (PSB) is globally recognized Grande École, which stands out for its distinctive teaching approach, combining interdisciplinary expertise with rich multicultural experiences.
The institution’s unique positioning empowers its students to develop innovative ideas that create lasting impact for businesses and society.
As a modern educational institution, PSB facilitates this innovation by leveraging technology to provide more effective learning opportunities for its students.

The Goal
Teaching selling and objection handling skills present specific challenges. As these skills rely on dynamic, interactive communication, they are difficult to teach through theory alone.
Traditional teaching methods allow students to understand conceptual foundations but offer limited opportunities to practice complex interpersonal situations, so PSB sought out VirtualSpeech as a complementary tool to simulate realistic sales and marketing scenarios – while remaining aligned with course objectives.

“I integrated VirtualSpeech into a sales pitching session focused on storytelling, and I was impressed by how naturally students connected theory with practice. They weren’t just rehearsing lines, they were learning to build persuasive narratives, adapt in real time, and deliver their ideas with confidence. It was great to see that level of engagement and growth in such a short time.”
- Elizaveta Pavlova, Paris School of Business
The Solution
PSB integrated VirtualSpeech into its curriculum as part of a three-stage process. First, students work in groups in a traditional classroom to design sales pitches and value propositions.
Then, students train in VR with VirtualSpeech with AI-powered avatars that ask questions, challenge ideas, and simulate objections in real time. Finally, students reflect on the instant feedback provided by VirtualSpeech and use their learnings to improve their performance.
PSB highlighted the platform’s scalability and flexibility, with VirtualSpeech already in use by hundreds of students across a number of the institution’s disciplines – with plans to expand and improve the integration already underway.

“This project demonstrates how structured pedagogical innovation can increase student engagement, improve learning effectiveness, and strengthen the link between theory and practice.
"By combining preparation, immersive training, and reflection, we can provide a practical solution to key teaching challenges and contribute to evolving pedagogical practices in marketing education.”
- Faculty Member, Paris School of Business
Results and Benefits
PSB’s integration of VirtualSpeech was highly successful. Educators noted tangible improvements in pitch delivery, objection handling, and soft skills, and appreciated the ability to tie classroom theory to realistic practice.
Students found the VR training to be more demanding than traditional methods, which resulted in a more engaging and effective practice – and noted the quality of the AI-powered session feedback.
