Andy Trainor is a seasoned retail and learning executive with over two decades of experience leading large-scale business transformation. He spent 23 years at Walmart, where he held multiple leadership roles across operations and training. As Chief Learning Officer for Walmart U.S., Andy oversaw a $400 million budget and led the training and development of 1.5 million associates. He pioneered the use of emerging technologies—such as VR, AR, and AI—to enhance learning outcomes, reduce training costs, and improve employee performance.
Following his tenure at Walmart, Andy served as CEO of SkillsVR North America, a virtual reality training company helping organizations adopt immersive learning solutions. In this role, he supported clients across industries in implementing scalable, interactive training programs and aligning learning technology with business goals.
Andy’s career is defined by a focus on innovation, measurable impact, and practical implementation. He holds an MBA from Webster University and a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Memphis.
