SEGRO have worked extensively with charities like ELBA (The East London Business Alliance) to help support candidates from varying communities in developing their employability skills and readiness for the workplace. Often SEGRO have provided resources such as in person interviews and coaching, but wanted a solution that was more engaging and scalable.

SEGRO partnered with VirtualSpeech and the business-led charity to pilot an innovative community programme that will help people from diverse backgrounds develop interview and public speaking skills, using VR and AI technology.
The delegates were able to improve their communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills, with a particular focus on mock job interviews. Most participants felt better prepared for upcoming interviews thanks to realistic environments and tailored feedback.
