Course outcomes
This course teaches you the fundamentals for pitching virtually, covering topics from discovering customers' specific needs, to setting up your tech to present your best self, and overcoming objections virtually to turn them into winning deals.
You'll learn key tips for remote sales and then practice, improve and build your confidence in a virtual sales pitch simulator. By the end of this course, you'll be able to confidently deliver a sales pitch in an online meeting.
Many people now deliver sales pitches remotely through online video conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Teams. We have to build relationships with prospects online, understand their needs online, and present our solutions over video. This requires a unique skill set for delivery compared to in-person sales. For example, adapting to a lack of prospect feedback and body language cues on virtual calls can be difficult.

This course is made up of three parts to accelerate your learning:
Online Classes
Learn fundamental techniques and strategies for giving video-based sales pitches through articles, videos, quizzes, and case studies. The course includes around 2-3 hours of online classes.
Practice Pitching
After completing the classes, you'll practice what you've learned in a pitching exercise, which mimics online meeting software such as Zoom, Skype, Webex, and Microsoft Teams.
Feedback
Every time you use the practice exercise, you'll receive automated feedback on your pitching and be able to playback your performance for self-evaluation.

How does the exercise work?
Practice your sales pitch on a secure webpage that looks and feels like a video conferencing platform.
While delivering your pitch, your voice and delivery will be analyzed, providing feedback when you've finished on aspects such as pace, audience perception, and confidence.
At the end of the pitch and throughout, answer text and audio-based questions from the virtual audience. You can also load in custom questions for a more targeted Q&A session.
Practice virtual sales pitches in the practice exercise. Answer audience questions, receive instant feedback on your performance and watch yourself present on a video recording to identify areas for improvement.
Enable distractions while you present, such as mobile phones ringing and loud background noise, to test your pitching skills further.
You can also upload your own presentation slides into the exercise for a more realistic pitching experience.
