Essential topics to understand before an interview, including the purpose of it, reasons people don’t perform well, how to structure your answers and dealing with interview nerves.
3. Pre-interview preparation
Understand the steps to prepare yourself before an interview, from learning about the company, to dressing appropriately. An example of body language and eye contact is also given.
4. Types of questions: competency-based
Competency questions are almost certain to be asked during your interview. Learn how to prepare for and answer the most common questions, before practicing these in front of a VR interview panel.
5. Types of questions: company-specific
This section gives you a chance to practice answering real company interview questions in an immersive VR scenario. Questions are taken from Google, Facebook, DreamWorks and more.
6. How to interview over video
How to interview over video, including setting up your camera, lighting and microphone, as well as eye contact and gestures over video.
7. What not to do
Learn what not to do in an interview and why first impressions are so important. An example 360-degree video gives you a chance to see how these negative scenarios look to the interviewer.
8. After the interview
There is still work to do once the interview is over. Understand how to write and send thank you notes to your interviewers, as well as what to do when you don’t manage to get the job.

3What equipment do I need for the practice exercises?

Both the online classes and exercises run in your browser, no additional software or download is required.

If you have a VR headset, you can also access the practice exercises in VR. Here's a list of our recommended VR headsets.

The online exercises have been tested across multiple browsers and run smoothly on Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Edge.
