Dom co-founded VirtualSpeech in 2016 to help people practice soft skills in a realistic way. He’s since grown the company to support employee training for organisations around the world and regularly writes for the VirtualSpeech blog, which receives over 200,000 monthly visits.
Graduating from Bristol University with a Masters in Engineering, Dom worked at the automotive company Jaguar Land Rover for several years, specialising in VR applications and use cases. Dom used this knowledge to design and build early versions of the VirtualSpeech VR application and website.
Dom has spoken at conferences around the world, including in San Francisco, London and Amsterdam. He spent 3 months in San Francisco growing the company at the BoostVC accelerator, specialising in how training companies can leverage VR.
Dom is the instructor for several VirtualSpeech courses and has co-authored a white paper on improving soft skills training with VR.
